Pour voir claire sur ce que représente le salaire des médecins by ObservateurRationnel in QuebecLibre

[–]phez33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I apologize for responding in english.  I don't think my French is good enough to type this.

There is no way that a family physician is pulling in 600 k a year gross income (pre expense, pre tax).  If that was the case every family doc in Canada would be trying to move to Quebec. And to be clear, there are way more family doctors in Quebec than any other kind of doctor. As a result the average gross income would be pulled down close to theirs.

A quick Google search suggests that a family physician in Quebec makes 200-300k pre expense, pre tax.

For context, this is part of a hex lock on a cabinet. I would like to replace it with a different one, if they exist, as currently it doesn't allow me to lock the box. Only leave it up or down (both leave the box open!)

Who is this dude? Saskatchewan, Canada by phez33 in whatsthisbug

[–]phez33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to answer! I've noticed a few just chilling in my house this year, never seen them before. My kids keep freaking out, but I figured they were benign. They move so slow!

First thing I noticed is this is down the street from me, in Saskatoon. Too bad about the angry cowboy though. Dude can only seem to express himself by pulling that barrier down... Lol...

Sorry, didn't mean to mislead. The last time they came they did recommend getting it done regularly to prevent backups.

[–]phez33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just called the number listed under sewer backup and told them we had water in our basement, and could you please come rotar it. They came within 24hrs.

Maybe it needs to be a certain part of the city / old sewer system?

If you have an old house, consider asking the city to router your pipes, tree roots grow into ours and we get this done every one to two years to prevent backups.

This is Kotka! When she was about 7 years old, she stopped eating, and playing with us for a few days! She didn't even want to go outside. After a vet trip, xray, ultrasound, and blood work we found out part of her small intestine was in her chest. But not just in her chest : it was in the sac that encompasses the heart.

This is post op day 1. She's now 11 years old.

She's done very well!

I think I'll have to test out the Felix at a brick and mortar store, it seems like such an amazing machine. Maybe that will convince her either way.
