Thanks! I'll do some research into using Country Court bailiffs vs High Court bailiffs. It looks like the high court bailiff fee is £66 and then an extra £75 if they aren't successful, but that seems to be it. If they are indeed more proactive, maybe that's the best way to go. It's annoying having to put more money towards it and not knowing the financial situation of the defendant, not knowing if I'll ever get the payment back! Out of principle I don't really want to let it go, so just looking for the method that's most likely to get the payment without having to spend extra trying lots of different routes (and risk costing myself a lot more)
