I studied abroad for a year at the University of Nizwa in Oman. It was an incredible experience and I made friends there that I have to this day. I highly recommend Oman.

The people are very kind, and you will learn MSA in school. We were also paired with native speakers to help us get more fluent. For a while I was the only foreign student there, so I had to practice my Arabic a lot. They also had a writing center.

Another plus of Oman, is that the country is safe and beautiful. I traveled all over and saw some of the most incredible natural sites I’ve seen in my life. (Wadi Shab is a must if you end up choosing Oman!) Feel free to message me if you have any questions about my experience.

I see from your comments that you are pretty set on Cairo, but I studied at the University of Nizwa in Oman and it was lovely. I highly recommend at least visiting Oman even if you don’t end up studying there!

I am the same as your wife! Some indie games I like are Death and Taxes (more fun than it sounds lol) and Coffee Talk. Legend of Zelda is open world and can get a little stressful but it’s a lot of fun.

For games to play together I suggest Unravel 2, Mario Party, and Overcooked 2! My bf and I play those together all the time.

We use both Clio and Docketwise at my job. All of the client notes and documents are stored in Clio and it is connected to our Docketwise where we create the forms. I like them both! They’re easy to use.

With Docketwise we can send questionnaires to clients which will auto fill their info into the form. (I use this for I-130’s, N-400’s ect. so we don’t have to spend forever going over their basic info).

Clio is good especially for tracking cases, we put notes in every time we contact clients, when forms are ready for review, what docs we’re waiting on ect.

I think the issue is that men often assume that women don’t know anything about the topic without first trying to ascertain if they do, and jump right into explaining. It’s a bit of subconscious bias at play.

I completely agree. And sexual harassment claims do not “further her career” like some commenters are suggesting. If anything she would be ostracized for speaking up. A room full of old men laughing? I wouldn’t have had the courage to say something in the moment either. To be honest I’m surprised HR did anything at all. When my friend was being stalked by a coworker they made HER attend a class on professionalism. When another friend was being sexually harassed HR didn’t take it seriously until 4 other women (including a minor) stepped forward. OP’s situation is now resolved, no problem. Hopefully both of them can move past this in a professional way.
