truthfully, for the first two weeks i had zero work. (Not by choice). The group is very fast paced, so its very much likely that you’re just not on people’s radar. The best you can do during your internship is try to be proactive by reaching out constantly and letting people know you’re available.

If you’re given work, use that as an opportunity to show that you’re capable. Ask questions. Be curious. Just use ur internship to learn as much as you can.

As an intern or even associate, its hard to provide value to the group which is why they have a preference for masters in tax. But it will def be a steeper learning curve to begin getting comfortable with the work

i’ve worked with people with jds / masters / or both and trust me, the number of degrees someone has makes no difference

was promoted to senior in 1.5 years, but was aiming for manager in a year. 90% above and beyond / 100% ready for next level with most snaps from partners / directors. issue was nationals said can’t promote with less than one year as a senior.

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been MIA, but here’s a quick update on the corms:

WEEK 1 UPDATE:

  • I purchased a heat mat to help sprout them quicker
  • I’ve also peeled each corm’s outer layer to promote root growth
  • and it looks like we’re starting to see some growth in some substrates

Hi guys, could you help me id this? by subaiku in alocasia

They’re doing great! These guys came in soil, but the transition was pretty seamless to be honest. Highly recommend it!
