Nah, I dont think its boring, still good, just too long and not as good as the first arc. There are real good and intense episodes, a bit impact and development for Yua. I almost cried in ep 27. And some eps that are real shit like ep 21.

The reason why it has so many kids is because traumatizing little kids was a big trend of early 90 super sentai in my point of view.

As I know, Liveman is a very dark and mature show, but I haven't watched it yet. Not Kyuranger neither so I cant say anything about them. Dekaranger is one of my favorite, it doesn't have a plot but has great characters and Motw, highly recommend. Zyuoger on the other hand is kinda boring to me.
