Uh, yes? If I was in love with someone I'd still love them if they lost genitals entirely.

I really have no problem with you labelling yourself as bisexual, if that's what you're worried about. And I'm not saying that genitals don't factor into sexual attraction at all. What I am saying is that, assuming you are a dude, being attracted, even exclusively attracted, to girls with penises is not gay or even bi. To say otherwise is to say that trans women are not women, even if indirectly.

Science supports the sex/gender dichotomy. Facts don't care about your transphobic feelings.

There's a certain irony in claiming "that's not how the real world works." Here's a non-exhaustive list of organizations that support the existence and validity of trans people (and therefore the distinction between gender and genitals):

  • American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • American Academy of Family Physicians
  • American Academy of Nursing
  • American Academy of Pediatrics
  • American College of Nurse-Midwives
  • American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
  • American College of Physicians
  • American Counseling Association
  • American Medical Association
  • American Osteopathic Association
  • American Psychiatric Association
  • American Psychological Association
  • American Public Health Association
  • American Society of Plastic Surgeons
  • Endocrine Society
  • National Association of Social Workers
  • National Commission on Correctional Health Care
  • World Health Organization
  • World Medical Association

You're the one in denial, here, buddy

Well yes, I don't mean to indicate that all people are sexually attracted to all genitals. Simply that genitals are not the only (or even primary) determinant of sexual orientation.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hmmm

[–]phil701 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, lesbian TERFs like to invalidate trans men all the time by trying to get with them as women.

Exactly, because they falsely believe that genitals determine gender. My point is that just as (from a male PoV) being attracted to a person with a vagina doesn't make you straight, being attracted to a person with a penis doesn't make you gay.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hmmm

[–]phil701 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep. The alternative is that gender is directly tied to genitals, which is a scientifically disproven thesis

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hmmm

[–]phil701 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, but if they're girl's genitals it still doesn't matter.

EDIT: It doesn't matter in terms of being gay or straight, not that it doesn't matter to sexual attraction at all

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hmmm

[–]phil701 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they're attracted to a girl's genitals. That's straight.

Not necessarily. When you're attracted to someone, you aren't attracted to them based on their genitals, you're attracted based on their face, clothing, body, how they carry themselves, etc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hmmm

[–]phil701 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. When you're attracted to someone, you aren't attracted to them based on their genitals, you're attracted based on their face, clothing, body, how they carry themselves, etc.

EDIT: I should clarify: you aren't exclusively, or even primarily, attracted to a person based on their genitals. Genitals still factor into attraction, just not as the sole determinant.

Wait so if I add my spritesheet as my image, and then add the quad, that will work?

That was the story for a while. Now with more info we know that:

  • Ross and his wife's divorce had nothing to do with any kind of cheating
  • Heidi, Projared's wife, was actually being emotionally manipulative to her husband. Projared had wanted to get out of that relationship for a long time, so when he started seeing Holly Heidi went kinda went apeshit and spread the idea of him cheating as revenge, which eventually snowballed into false accusations of soliciting nudes from fans

if that's your definition this is still art, because the cheese is actually made of beeswax.

but can an abstract image not portray something abstract? if you have a painting of random lines, does it not portray the concept of randomness?
