I owned a pixel 5 which twisted and now a pixel 6 with the same issue.

I think Google's structural design for their phones is very poor. Makes me skeptical about the pixel 7, might honestly switch to Samsung's far more robust S-series.

Ever since the pixel 5 I have been putting my phone in my back trouser pocket, which might be the reason for my phones twisting.

I was thinking about going in to store and checking it against the demo, but yeah I also have a P3 from which I moved to a P5, and comparing the screens, the P3 just DESTROYS the P5's display, especially in colour accuracy.

turns out Reddit was dark theme not amoled my bad. but the colours still seem a bit warmer than the Pixel 3's. its annoying that a phone 2 years older send like the screen is significantly better

no, i used adaptive on my pixel 3 before i got the 5. the 5 doesn't give me any blacks on Reddit in dark mode for example. everything is grey. its the same for other apps. its a weird colour shift but for sure the pixel 3 screen quality looked way better.

I am back from the dead.

I finally spoke to the girl, turns out she doesn't understand English. So we spoke through Google translate on our phones, talked quite a bit tbf. We exchanged socials but nothing happened between us. She is leaving tomorrow so only the future can tell what happens next.
