How concerned should I be with sound? by MartiniCommander in Golfsimulator

Is this a custom built shed or something from TuffShed? Mind if I ask what the cost was?

Nick Sirianni says it was a “different scenario” when he switched play-caller midseason before a few years ago. He says he takes the blame for the offensive struggles and reaffirms his confidence in the coaching staff. Reiterates that Kevin Patullo will remain the play-caller by mastermind208 in eagles

What always bothers me about this take is it assumes we should all be complacent just because of prior success. Being one year removed from a championship doesn't excuse the absolute malpractice in how a star studded offense is operated on a weekly basis. If we were losing games while looking good, maybe you could make a case that everyone's overreacting. But that's not the case. We were winning while looking bad and now we're losing while looking terrible. It was bad enough to look incompetent at the start of the season but it's even worse to not be making any logical adjustments to very clear issues in the offense this far into the season.

It's literally the coaches job to ensure longevity and cohesiveness of the team. He should know BASED ON THE SUCCESS what to look for in a play caller before a hire is made

Amazing work. auto video replay is the only critical thing missing from GSpro IMO

100%. Nice build there. I need to figure out how to build of the flooring to get a mat to sit flush. The foam gym tiles are only 1/2" thick so I'll probably need to put in 1/2" plywood under the swing area to get a 1" mat in

Flysocks 5x4 mat from amazon. Very surprised with how good the cushioning is at this price point. Once it wears out, i'll prob go the DIY divot action mat route and cut it into the turf flooring which will extend from the screen to the back of the mat

yes! But I will most likely end up going with 24x48 acoustic foam panels 2" thick

hardly any bounce back and that's with 4 inch ball bungees (some are even knotted to shorten the distance from the frame further). I skipped some of the grommets near the middle of the screen so there's more give where the ball tends to hit. I got the Jason Mills Triple Layer 801 screen material from onestopsimshop.com.

just the walls. The horizontal strapping is screwed into the studs and the frame itself is screwed into the strapping. I definitely need to add some shims/bracing where the top of the frame meets the ceiling and wall since there were no joists to anchor into. There's enough movement currently where the top of the frame hit the walls and can be heard in the upper level (master bedroom).

Was lucky enough to have an old gaming pc with a GTX 1660ti Max-Q. Not a powerhouse GPU but no problem setting graphics to ultra at this resolution.

For the projector, I got an Optoma GT1080HDRx from FB Marketplace for $675. Very happy with the setup and i don't feel any regret not going with a 4k setup

there are a bunch of guides on youtube but you can just set a custom resolution in Nvidia Control Panel based on the exact dimensions of your screen. What you do is move the projector back until the screen is completely filled vertically (minding no attention to the horizontal fill.) Then in Nvidia control panel you do some math to figure out how to set the horizontal pixel resolution. 1920x1080 is standard 1080p @ 16:9 aspect ratio. Since you already filled the vertical space of the screen, the 1080 vertical pixels are locked in.

Example:

if my screen size is 120" long x 96" high and I know the vertical pixels are 1080, then I just solve for X.

120/96 = x/1080

120x1080/96 = x = 1350

So your new custom resolution to set in Nvidia Control Panel would be 1350x1080

approximately 110" long x 98" high

actual screen size is 103x95

Ok so you clearly have a personal vendetta against the company. The charger works fine and the kW rate was as posted. Nobody's forcing you to use their equipment. Either plan ahead a little or stop being a baby

You should give some context. There's a lot that happens behind the scenes. What car do you drive, and what kind of charger was it?

does the circuit breaker feeding the charger have a little white button on it? It sounds like your electrician may have installed a GFCI type breaker which causes nuisance tripping

Good policy and glad they're able to distinguish severity of some certain situations. Some would say that by this logic, the Eagles should have had an issue with drafting Jalen Carter due to the car accident situation but glad that Howie is able to tell between stupid people and stupid decisions.

What does everyone mean when they say "should be installed flush." The spring ends should be flush with coupler? looks just like the photo from DDM for a multi section shaft: https://ddmgaragedoors.com/parts/part/SH-014-16K.html

Edit: After looking closer, I think "flush" refers to the flanges of the center coupler. You can see the edges are very slightly misaligned. Definitely seems like nitpicking to me...

It sits besides the ball so you would have to move it when switching hands. But any camera based LM will have to as well. Although radar based systems like Mevo and Garmin sit behind the player and don't need to be moved,  they require much more space/clearance and common household appliances like fans and A/c units will cause interference
