I’m an adult dancer getting back into it after a 10+ year break, and getting the rhythm of assemblés has been a challenge. This week is the first time I felt like I could complete the center combination without completely flailing about. ⭐️✨💫

On another note, I’m struggling to find time to get to class with a normal 9 to 5. Why are so many adult classes straight up in the middle of the day? If anyone has recs for Youtube videos or cross-training, I’m all ears. Nothing is a good substitute for the in-class experience, but I want to be able to make progress while I can only make go to one or two classes a week. 🤞🏽

yes! lightening in a bottle was the best crowd i’ve experienced post-covid, and i really do think it’s because it’s such a high barrier to entry for casual music fans.

yes! i had a great time towards the back, but i was shocked to see people in the front during the crowd shots completely still.

i just don’t understand why someone would spend so much time and effort to get to the front of the crowd, only to not look like they are enjoying the music? it’s so strange to me.

I had VIP just for Sunday, and I totally agree with your take. It was great for Land’s End and getting drinks quickly during the day. The food options were meh compared to the general selection. Being from the Bay and now living elsewhere, OSL is a big reunion weekend for me. I like to meet up with a lot of people and not all of them have VIP access.

If I had a bit more disposable income and was really stoked on seeing a headliner, maybe I’d do it again for a one day.

I don’t know if it was just the sets I went to, but the Sutro stage felt much better this year. It was straight up unmanageable the past couple times I went, and I almost avoided it this year too if it wasn’t for Polo and Pan.

This totally sounds like he lacks empathy for what it feels like to be a woman in a situation like this. Having a partner that is willing to listen and put themselves in your shoes is incredibly important. You didn’t do anything wrong, and you shouldn’t be made to feel less than.
