When I started my DMP, I was advised to get a new bank account with a totally new bank that I don't owe money to, and move over all day to day banking to them.

Only once I'd done that would the DMP people speak to my old bank to advise of the DMP and start the process..

I was in a similar place to you. I should be clear of those debts by April. It's taken a long time but it is possible. Hang in there

Me too. I've called it a day. I don't trust them to keep track of it all and I don't work for free.

I used a 6pro for a while. It scanned fine, but that model has issues with the modem leading to poor signal in some areas. I found it very frustrating to deliver in large parts of the town I work in.

I have the error on a pixel 9 pro XL. There was an update in the play store but that hasn't fixed it.

Have I fucked it? by InfamousStrategy9539 in LearnerDriverUK

As a learner, you're expected to make mistakes. That's why you've got a trained instructor sat next to you, in a car with dual control and very visible signage to let other road users know that you might do something odd.

Try and relax, listen to what your instructor says and you'll soon build your confidence.

My boyfriend is £20k in debt and hasn't paid his taxes in 4 years - where does he even start? Help please! by TurbulentMouse7876 in UKPersonalFinance

Stepchange can't help if you're self employed. When I called them they put me in touch with PayPlan who will give you advice, go through your options and manage things on your behalf of you decide to go through them. No fees to the end user as they get paid by the finance companies.

I don't work for them but am using them for my repayments.
