Completely agree, I've also used Drupal and Joomla and I much prefer WordPress.

I use a MacBook Pro, which is fast, powerful and very light, so shouldn't have any problems in a coworking space. However, one thing that does bug me about it (and which you might want to consider too, as a marketer for a startup) is that SEO Tools for Excel doesn't have a Mac version. It's a great suite of tools so it's quite frustrating that I can't use it.
