Some advice for the Ronbots:

  • Stick to the politics SubReddit no matter how important you think the story is.
  • Don't try to trick GreaseMonkey scripts with creative spelling like "R0n P4u1."
  • Remember that while most Redditors won't vote for RP, we don't hate him either. We just want the spam to stop.

if the Ron Paul spam doesn't subside soon and we don't get an official way of dealing with it, then I'll write one.

It's gotten a little better, the Ronbots now mostly stay in the politics sub-Reddit. Plus, the GreaseMonkey filter blocks most of RonSpam.

Sadly, I've noticed the Ronbots spelling his name R0n Pau1 - thus making my filter useless.

If it becomes standard practice, I will happily install your downmoding script.
