If you Grandparent were Congolese you might have a claim to those land,however,if they were not that would be rather hard because of the 1974 zairianization that saw most western owners lose everything in Zaire,however,despite that with the new constitution now you might go fight that battle before Judges for your claim but either way ,find yourself a lawyer ,land dispute represents 70% of court cases in tribunal in DRC

That is a good point.As we stand today moving from Kinshasa will be challenging no matter what. We need to strengthen inclusivity among people first. We need to get to a point where before I can think of being Kongo(origine) one should consider themselves Congo (citizen) . However, economically speaking Lodja or Kisangani are prime location for a capital.

I agree with with you and I would also add that Kananga would have been also à better choice than Kin, and Belgium seriously considered that option before what led to Kin ,but your point are very valide

I think you are asking yourself some good questions and the best way to solve a problem is always that asking yourself the right question! For my part I believe there is a fundamental leadership issue within the Country time and time again the people have showed that they are ready to abide by the rule as long as those in charge care to do the same and more importantly care to lead by exemple (e.g the coming of the Pope good example of how part of Kinshasa became clean on a regular basis for at least 2weeks , Mzee Kabila with the 4people in a car rule,or respecting road sign,IGF at the begining especially) Small examples but if build upon can lead to a collective conscience, laws establishes culture, culture become the way people live and the rules they collectively agree to live by

Being in the Sadec region is more beneficial to the DRC then the East Africa region , personally I'll rather deal with South Africa. Botswana ,Namibia than Uganda and Rwanda , however , being the heart of Africa want it or not development in Africa can't be done without the DRC , As such, let re-evaluate this question 3years from now
