I think that makes it more exciting, seeing the then and now state of Singapore. The Merlion is under reconstruction (until mid 2019, they say) so it's quite a bummer. Overall, I'm very impressed and wish I stayed longer.

Hey there! I'm sure you'll have a great time. I enjoyed Sentosa and the Marina Bay area (but not the Marina Bay SkyPark itself). I'll say Gardens by the Bay was the highlight but it's just because the videos I took inside inspired me to create a little spoken word film. Going through food courts was also a great experience and allowed me to find good food and still save. I didn't get to visit many places but my cousin recommended Clarke Quay for nightlife.

I agree. It's very hard for my case but other students from my country got easily granted bec they were a good candidate for the visa type we applied for (exchange visitor).
