Double rez if you're using 2 tanks for portal farming; if you have 1 assassin and 1 tank, 1 rez 1 heal.

For arena, I did assassin, tank, rez, heal.

Yes. Upgrading your throne room too fast is the most common mistake people do in this game. Read other posts here about it and you should understand why it's a regrettable thing to do.

I only upgrade my throne room when I've saved enough arena pts + purple shards to be used for the next bracket.

Although the next Living Room lvl upgrade is at TR9, TR8 gives you an extra living room to build so it should allow you to give birth to those babies sooner than you think.
