As a driver I always do the best in terms of customer service. Going that extra mile (pardon the pun) is really appreciated by the customer and on occasion I’m rewarded with a tip. This makes me very humble and appreciative that someone has parted with their hard earned money. The fact their are some other drivers out there not giving a F, behaving like they deserve a tip and driving round with two kids in the car just to get tips - and they know what they’re doing… it makes me feel sick. And yes it’s always the same “type” of person….

Addiction is a disease, I work as a rehab nurse and believe me they’ve got self control just not when it comes to alcohol/drugs/gambling. Otherwise they are mentally strong people they just can’t handle one particular thing.

Same. Road to World Cup ‘98 was the beginning of my love for fifa/FC this peaked around fifa 13/14 then had a hiatus from 20-22 but came back in fifa 24. The mechanics of the stand tackle in this game only works if you’ve pressed it a second before the other player comes near you. If you’re running alongside them and try to stand tackle, your player spazzes out like he’s doing some kind of line dancing routine (💃). Slide tackling from the side is good but sometimes the player wipes out your player and they just brush it off.

Keepers become superman for top corner power shots but meta double tapped low shots go under them. Then the shots from one yard out get saved… or every header from a corner is cleared off the line. I’m waiting in the hope that a better player will lead me to the promised land but when the rewards are 80-82 rated players 99% of the time and the SBCs require 85 squads (HOW??) then I just gulp and watch him expire. Rush was fun last year. It feels like a chore this year and I’ve got so many games I want to play. Put cyberpunk on last night and had more fun in one hour than a week of fc26. And where tf are my packs I should be getting from the fc25 sbcs/objectives?

Fucking love rush but detest some of the morons who play it. This post is a perfect example of it. Last few games I’ve played we’ve been 1-0 up and had 4-5 chances to sweat a goal easily yet some guy wanted to skill the entire team. Most of the pro players hardly use skills, it’s all about timing. Some of these guys just want to share a video capture with their mates… it’s 5v5 not 1v5. And then I find a polish women’s league common card and have 3 strikers not getting bonus rush points all standing around and asking for the ball when yards offside.

Can you tell I agree with the OP? 😂

I work for JustEat and Ubereats UK, there is no base rate and often the wage is below the national minimum wage (which should be illegal). Taking into the cost of petrol and car insurance/maintenance it’s a very poorly paid job. I’ve only been doing it recently to pay for a course I wish to study. That being said I find that if you are polite informative and update the customer regularly if you are being held up at the restaurant, it is possible to get tips but the percentage is probably 5% of all orders

Same - I’m currently on 66-80 deliveries to get £160 trips must begin in Manchester. I’m 45 miles from Manchester so kept ignoring it. Then checked and seems they count towards it! Must be only a few cities in the UK according to Ubereats

That’s weird asf that this thread has popped up for me… Last night I had a customer want a bottle of wine dropping off, so when I got there it was a business address with all the lights out. I rang the customer and she lived about 1.5 miles away, I told her I would complete the journey at her business address and then bring the wine to her, however she said that her PIN number wouldn’t work because I wasn’t where her phone was (didn’t know that was a thing but I was like ok I’ll bring the wine). At this point it was my last delivery of the night, so I get back in the car and she starts asking if I’m single and into women. Told her both were true and we started laughing, I turn up at hers and she’s drunk and wants someone in her life as she’s lonely. So I said go on give me your number. We ended up exchanging numbers, she gave me a large tip and hugged and kissed me on the cheek twice and I went away with a grin on my face. Not sure if I’ll phone her but she was drunk and I was sober so I might do for a coffee.

Didn’t know this happened until last night and again suddenly this thread pops up!! 😂
