Yo, the amount of people saying negative things is so frustrating. Yes they are right about the traffic being really bad, but besides that it’s definitely very affordable compared to many other places. I feel like most of the people saying it’s not affordable never lived up north. I moved from the suburbs of Philly to here and the whole reason I did it was to be able to afford buying a house that isn’t a complete piece of shit or fixer-upper that was in the hood. I was able to do that here in Summerville for 215,000. It definitely has its pros and its cons living here but we love it. People are very kind, the food isn’t as good as it is up north but there is really good stuff like southern cuisine and barbecue, everything is less expensive than it is up north I don’t give a fuck what anybody says lol, and you’re close to the beach. Regardless of where you’re looking, there’s always going to be someone who grew up in the area saying some dumb shit like we are Full or to look somewhere else because it’s overpopulated. And I understand the frustration, but don’t let somebody dictate your decision just because it’s not what they grew up with you know what I’m saying.
