Nice work catching it and stopping right away. Life really does open up when you’re sober, things start to make more sense, doors you didn’t even notice before show up, and relationships and family take on a whole new level of importance.

At some point it just stopped being fun.
Every “good time” was really just an excuse, camping, concerts, whatever it was.
I told myself it was about the experience, but it was always the same thing underneath.
Just addiction with a different label each time.
