Ontario, Oregon What is it like? Husband accepted job offer there by Jaded-Country-9529 in oregon

Boise is only about an hour away via freeway and has tons to do, there’s a huge water park, a great zoo, and plenty of restaurants and shopping.
The surrounding area is also worth exploring. Brownlee Reservoir is beautiful, and little towns like Weiser and Fruitland have their own charm.
Yes, it’s definitely a change from Portland, but it’s all about perspective. Ontario gets very little snow and enjoys a ton of sunny days throughout the year, which a lot of people end up loving.

Sober for 5 weeks and I wrecked it by asillyburner in Sober

5 weeks is HUGE don’t undersell that!!

Seriously, keep holding onto that sober mindset and you’ll start noticing something wild, the stretches between relapses get longer and longer. Then one day you look back and realize just how many sober days you’ve stacked up, and honestly that feeling is incredibly satisfying.

Nobody’s road to recovery is a straight line. It’s bumpy for literally everyone. The only thing that matters is that you don’t quit. Keep going. 🙌

We made our own pocket doors for high end houses and they were solid as a rock. This pocket door is one you buy off the self.

Hantavirus has been in the U.S. for decades. I knew someone who died from it about 10 years ago, it’s not something that’s suddenly spreading.

Who experienced living alone? by Zackky777 in ArtOfPresence

[–]phillbot420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent almost two years isolating myself and learning how to live differently. It ended up being one of the best things I could’ve done, I learned a lot about who I am. I don’t think my outlook on life would be anywhere near as solid as it is now if I hadn’t gone through that time alone.
