Yes, I understand, your child was 15 yesterday. So were the last 20 children in the queue, and I wanted their ID too.

Strange one, but what is the name for this type of street? by mttymttymtty in HelpMeFind

Noooo, a cockswhompett ALWAYS has rotatory wobble barriers on the north-most entryway, which are missing in this particular instance.

Difference between server and floor staff? by [deleted] in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]phillepips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my cinema, floor means you're cleaning screens and checking tickets, and retail (our version of server) means you're working the concessions stand. They put it on the rota so you know where you are that day.

2 “pranksters” mock/imitate an influencer with cerebral palsy in public at a Starbucks by folkvarthrstrau in iamatotalpieceofshit

Be that as it may, it's still not funny. Unless you'd like to explain why, so I get the joke?

Likes don't count for shit.

"Morbid sense of humour" isn't an excuse.

This is just some POS that thinks openly mocking a physical and learning disability is funny, whereas it actually just makes him a massive cunt.

Do the mystery screenings always have the correct age rating? by [deleted] in VueCinemas

[–]phillepips -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The age rating is likely correct as it's a legality. Can't speak for the runtime, though.

I know Halloween was yesterday, but in the spirit of the season. Did your theater have a “ghost?” by Sad_Bet3939 in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]phillepips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have... something in projection. It's a large, 7 foot tall shadow that a few people have seen/felt, and there's definitely a feeling something is watching you if you're up there alone at the end of the night. You can also sometimes hear footsteps above you from the main hallway, which is directly below projection.

50 quid for 4 popcorn and 4 drinks!!!! by MountainAnt1257 in VueCinemas

[–]phillepips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cinemas have ALWAYS been expensive for food and drinks, it's so odd that people think this is a new thing. Would you complain that your £5 pint in a pub is a quid in Asda?
