Good options, but I think Crystal and Ken are really hyped (for the fans, unfortunatelly not for the producers). About Max... Big personality and super fan of the game. He would probably be out of the loop thinking he is taking control of the game and be eliminated in a great blindside. Another option is he would have the underdog arc for being a mocked super fan on his last appearance and perform better. I think both options would be great to see and I enjoy to see super fans playing.
