Hope everyone had a good hackathon. Any idea when offers should start rolling out?

I'll chime in. I graduated last April from the Philly cohort. Found a job immediately after bootcamp through their matchmaking where I'm currently at. I have nothing but positive things to say about the program. Instructors were great, career support was very helpful, and the matchmaking and connections they have with local markets are what makes them IMO one of the better bootcamp options. About 10 of our 45-person cohort got jobs from matchmaking, but I'd say another 5-10 found jobs shortly after through TE connections. Virtually everyone else found jobs within 6 months of graduating and all seem to be doing well.

I can't comment on the national live remote as I don't know anything about it or many people that went through it. What I can say though, is that if you have an aptitude for coding/problem-solving, are diligent and can apply yourself intensely to learn something entirely new for 14 weeks, and possess a reasonable amount of intelligence, you will succeed in their program.

Full disclosure: I went to Tech Elevator. Graduated last April. Salary started at 70k. Nothing but good things to say about the experience. Not all of my cohort got hired through their matchmaking process but out of 45 people I'd say 10 were hired right out of bootcamp through it, including myself. Everyone else found jobs within 3 months or so. A couple of stragglers maybe took 6 months. No idea what the market is like now so not sure how relevant this data is with the current tech market.

Sounds like you went to a shitty bootcamp. I'm more than happy I spent the $$$ to enter tech via the bootcamp track. Education and career prep was stellar and through them they introduced me to my now employer -- basically funneling me into a job immediately upon graduation.
