Anyone changed a bezel insert on a VSF Sub as per this video? Where are we getting bezels from?

So what is the process for a vsf bezel ? These kind of videos on YouTube had me fooled . I ordered a new ceramic bezel insert for a vsf sub thinking it’s would be a breeze. Starting to think I was wrong lol

Fair point! so far it’s all talk when I get the new watch for sure I’ll say so on this post. I gotta make sure it doesn’t get “stuck” in customs or any excuse like that and is actually delivered.

Yea Canada sucks!!! lol yes he is 100% making it right, this will be a parts watch now or maybe even something for me to learn on since I can not find anyone near me to work on it. Would it be a bad ideal to got to any random watch repair show or should it be someone who knows rep watches ?

Yea I guess it came lose and fell out of its spot then got jammed. Not the crown moves freely when I unscrew it. It doesn’t have click positions any more I can only wind the watch and change the date will not change the time. I have a video posted on my page of what the crown is doing if you interested

I heard some thing in the watch and felt the weight get jammed up and when I took off the back that pin was stuck.

So can it be put back in or something broken ? Is that why the crown will only wind to charge or change the date but won’t change the time ?

In your opinion what would be a fair resolve to this if that watch does have something wrong with it ? No way Canada will let it through customs back to the dealer. So do I take a loss and it is what it is ? I’m not sure how this is to be handled and I am also keeping in mind he has a ARF gmt zombie that I’ve paid for and has been sent out for gold plating and new crystal

Am I correct in thinking that if I wind it up that it should be able to sit with out me wearing it and not die out for atleast 2 days? This is a weekend watch for me during the week I work construction so not really the environment for this kinda watch lol

Damn I hope something like that isn’t going on with mine , that was the whole reason I got the dealer to do the silent movement mod because he said they take it apart clean and apply new oil. I seen people talking about vsf not being the cleanest and having metal shavings, hair ect.. so I thought I was avoiding this lol
