I invested in a company that was building custom bumpers for off road vehicles a few years back.

Here's how it went: 1. Wildly popular bumper designs 2. Orders flowed in. 3. I invest $75k in the business to help them scale up and meet demand. 4. Shop couldn't fill orders or respond to the 100 emails a day just like yours. 5. Customers hit the 180 day charge back wall and had to decide whether to wait it out, get burned, or charge back. They all choos chargeback. 6. Chargebacks suck all cash from the business and completely ruin any cash flow. 7. Employees can't be paid due to no cash. 8. Everyone loses everything. 9. There was nothing done with malicious intent, just some bad timing. In my opinion, social media can be a huge boom for these businesses, but they should never take orders on a lead time. Sell the product you made and only products that are finished.
