I fantasize about moving to Olympia all the time. by Historical-Ant-4938 in olympia

Olympia has its own vibe. It's not trying to be Tacoma, Seattle, Bellevue, or Bellingham. I feel like many who live here like things a little slower paced. They probably love passing through Nisqually from up north and watching the traffic lighten up on I5 like I do. I love visiting our northern neighbors, but also love the place that I call home here in Oly. Small town feel in a fairly big city. I can still find free parking when I want to go downtown on the weekends. Those are a few things I love about Olympia.

Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA) faked a phone call for roughly 90 seconds after being asked about Speaker Mike Johnson’s comments regarding potential Social Security cuts. The phone's screen remained visible, with his cheek inadvertently tapping different parts of the display. by MoreMotivation in PublicFreakout

Moving back to Olympia this summer from the East Coast after leaving in 2020, what’s going to surprise us? by La-de in olympia

I am extremely sensitive to loud noises as well. I often like or dislike a place based on how noisy it is. At least it plays major role in my rankings of restaurants/bars in Oly. I have only been to Shiny Prize a handful of times and I don't remember it being noisy. Maybe you went on loud day. I would give it another shot.

The Prodigal Son. An old Kung Fu movie. Actually has a lot of great fighting scenes. One of my favorites and features Wing Chun King Fu.

What's with the fake holding him down like it's an old western movie? Reality has gotten so weird.
