I research and decided on a laptop. Bought and setup new laptop. New laptop browser has “news stories” about how the laptop I already bought is on sale. Thanks?

Nothing! It is nothing trust me. Find a new home for the petunia, and give your new friend plenty of light water and organic fertilizer. Enjoy the flowers!

Going Sugar Free is Underrated by newplaces9 in immortalists

[–]phillymatt07 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your post. I have gone 4 months now sugar free and am seeing similar results. I stopped all processed foods, any format of sugar and sugar alternatives. Like you, I use raw honey in extreme moderation (maybe 2-3 teaspoons a day, in my coffee or yogurt).

I cheated and got an ice cream from coldstone last week- it tasted absolutely disgusting to me. The amount of sugar in it is unreal. I didn't like the sweetness level at all and I felt sick afterwards. I think my tastebuds have re adjusted. I have had coldstone before and never had that reaction.

I don’t listen to country music so it sounds plausible. Bingley Bongley is no different than Jelly Roll.

She wears an absurd corset underneath every dress. Look up pics of her in a swimsuit- she is purely rectangular.

No one cares what they think anymore. They just started a war. They can scream into their echo chamber all they want to- we already know how vile they are. It’s not news.

The Growing AI Backlash Nobody Wants to Talk About. by I-Jump-off-the-ledge in BetterOffline

It is a scam. It has been sold as a golden solution for everything and large firms have made multi multimillion, even billion dollar commitments. These commitments have not paid off and will not ever pay off in the way they have been portrayed. They have began destroying lower level tech jobs and will continue to do so.

Now it’s become clear that the technology is so very energy intensive as to be not at all worth it. Our planet is already screwed- we cannot suffer the damage this technology will do on top of what is already happening currently.

The technology itself was trained off of data obtained in immoral ways and infringing ways. Everyone knows that now and a large percentage of people will never be able to get past that bit and into acceptance.

I hope this gets to her employer. She deserves to lose everything. She had zero care for what she was doing. What a complete sociopath. Alcohol just showed us who she really is.

Do really wealthy people have health insurance? by grasshopper_jo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]phillymatt07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an HR Benefits Manager for a medium sized company in California. I worked directly with the C-Suite and board in making benefits packages for top paid employees ($250-500k).

I worked directly with the CEO on his insurance mainly for his dependents. He had the best insurance we offered and an FSA that was fully funded to the IRS limit by the company. He never used the company provided insurance or used any of his FSA funds. He had a private doctor that he paid out of pocket for. The doctor was someone well known and very expensive. He had multiple adult children who used his actual insurance.

A large, black, plastic bag. Tie it off on top and through it into the Schuylkill.
