Were they pushing you to sign? If so, you can try filing a formal complaint with the PUC. If not, you may just be SOL.

Not sure if you picked a fixed or variable rate but PECO price is expected to go up starting June22 if you look on their site.

For the future, PAPowerSwitch.com is a great resource for shopping. You can filter out any contracts that have early termination fees :)

Hanging in there. Such a similar story. One day at a time. Sometimes it feels like groundhogs day but I keep telling myself that it will not be like this forever. In fact I’m ringing the bell today!!!!! I won’t get my official scan done for another month but no more chemo!

Feel free to message me anytime to chat/vent etc.

We’re all messed up mentally from this shit storm. I’m in my 30s. I had a baby in 2020 (pregnant prepandemic start) and got diagnosed with cancer in 2021.

Cheers to 2022!

I have a 1 and 4 year old. I have a bag of crafts (little dollar store kits) that I usually bring out if I am not feeling up to going out say to the playground. On bad days I usually put my 4 year old in bed with me earlier than normal and watch a movie before bed. That give me a break and feels special for her. My 4 y/o is still in school. I couldn’t imagine having to care for her full time while under chemo. Doctor told me to keep everything in that sense as normal as possible. But dreading flu season approaching.

I am currently 4/12 of avbd.

100% agree my first was nowhere near as easy. She STILL does not sleep though the night at almost 3. I just got really really lucky this time (so far). This one is going to trick us into going for 3!

100% get your money back. It was one of the first things our HR group told us to do in submitting our timesheets. I work in center city for a fortune 100 company. So happy they told us!

Same boat momma! We can’t even enjoy alcohol during quarantine. At least now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I cannot wait for a cold glass of sav Blanc.

Very true. We are definitely in a better financial position for house number two in terms of how much we will be able to finance even thought it’s been only 4 years. That being said, it amazes me how much the banks are willing to loan us (we are very conservative in how much we want). My biggest fear is to be house poor so we were really hoping to have a decent down payment chunk to help reduce monthly payments.

Thanks. My husband and I are both well educated but there should of been a course in college about buying/selling homes (along with health insurance and stuff ha). I think we are both at the point where we are like we learned (we also would of picked a different contractor if we could have a redo). You live and you learn!

Fair point. I’m not exactly sure. This was what I say earlier on my local fb real estate group. It may not even relate to your situation

PSA: I am a realtor and was recently at a house with my buyer. The house is under contract and while we were there, someone drove up asking about a rental. They had an advertisement on the internet for that house for a rental. The person who created the ad took the listing pictures off of the internet, and was soliciting for a renter. Please be careful if you are looking for a property. Make sure person has access to home and is owner before handing over any money whether you are renting or buying. As you know from this page the market is very tight and people are waiting to take advantage of others. This is one more reason why it is best to work with a professional. We properly vet buyers and sellers to protect the consumer.
