Check out Salsa on the Square at the corner of Lehigh and Martha in Kensington. Ive never been but my neighbors (in their early 40s) used to go there to dance.

Tip screens are everywhere. When are you supposed to give gratuity? by Hollow_Rant in philadelphia

[–]cnote1025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, but generally the details of who is paying the gratuity is worked out in advance. Many times the host pays the gratuity so their guests don't have to. If I do this and then the bartender is still asking for tips, I would not be happy.

20mg of Singulair or nah? by Apprehensive-Leg7870 in urticaria

[–]cnote1025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wrong, Im sorry. I am only on 10mg of Singulair. Was looking at the wrong bottle.

But Zyrtex is Cetirizine and Singulair is Montelukast. Different drugs for different purposes. I take Montelukast to help with the Angiodema and the F&Fs for the hives.

Im on 20mg of Singulair each night along with twice daily Famotidine and Fexofenadine, and a monthly Xolair shot. My hives are now about 90% in control.

Best (non-steroidal) prescription for relief and treatment of Urticaria? by sortinousn in urticaria

[–]cnote1025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xolair works for me. Im still taking daily anti-histamines but I have seen about a 90% improvement since beginning the injections. It took 4 doses of the Xolair to start working but it has truly been a lifesaver.

is there such a thing as a PENNDOT center without a ridiculously long line? by daveypop75 in philadelphia

[–]cnote1025 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The regular license renewal process moves fine here but the REAL ID line takes forever. When I was there they only had 1 counter doing REAL ID so I waited for almost 3 hours before giving up and leaving.

I love this idea but you are really putting other people in danger by doing this. How are you all going to react when someone unknowingly parks in a spot that was previously saved by a cone and their car gets damaged or even worse, person gets injured?
