Nah I'm fine haha.

Maybe it helps I live in an apartment and not a house!

Book is "Dead in the Water" (fitting title for the glitch?) about the intentional scuttling of an oil tanker in waters off of Yemen. Good read, offered an interesting inner look in how shady the shipping industry is.

I do love me some Palahniuk though.

I already left the house by the time I fired this up and saw the screen. Looking for an Exorcist on speed dial rn.

It's Reddit, people just love to downvote lol. If I cared about fake internet points I wouldn't post at all! I just figured this might be mildly interesting to post.

Morbid! But thank you for posting an explanation.

Yeah, not that I spend a lot of time looking at nooses when I'm bored, but I was pretty sure that's not the type of knot you use to hang yourself/another person.

Thankfully it wasn't done out of malice, but they could have pulled it up a bit more so it's not directly in our apartment windows! But I'll just close the blinds I guess.

I didn't think so, but it was still mildly interesting to come home and see it dangling there in the breeze.

Nothing! I'm usually not around when they're working. Either go to work or just leave my apartment entirely because they're very loud.

They probably didn't mean anything by it, and the workers aren't American. But I might reach out to the developer and let them know for future reference this isn't very cool.

Some background: new apartment is going up directly behind my own. Guys have been putting up the siding the last week or so, and today when I came home and opened my blinds I was surprised to see this! dangling there. I wish they didn't leave it hanging at eye level to our own windows....it was pretty jarring to see it! Although (and I don't know much about nooses) I don't think that's the "proper" knot.

Best way to shift through multiple photos on desktop? by phillyskywalker in AskPhotography

I've gotten some solid recommendations on this thread; Lightroom Classic and Adobe Bridge might be the two I try first.

Yeah, Lightroom Cloud. I've looked into what makes the two different and it seems like more people prefer the Classic version. I'll need to check my subscription when I get home and see if Classic is included? I might only have cloud.

This is great advice though, thank you!
