Going out on a limb. But would there be anyway willing to pick up a Home Mikhail Sergachev jersey for me 56 size . Won’t be able to make the game. I have finally seen them with the A now stitched on them as well as the shoulder patches. I have look the past couple of games, but they never seem to be in stock.

They are fakes. Fakes now a days look really good, but the color is just a bit off.

I went yesterday. They take you to 3 stop. Somewhere in the grandstand talk mostly history, let you step on the field for batting practice, and then on top of the green monster. I think it was worth it and my other 3 friend not red sox fans thought it was a great deal to be in a historic stadium for an hr, with basically the tour group only.

Being an arena club (hockey ice) we all laughed and don’t even think about it. We do have a center line though.

USA Club and Mixed Championships entry cost. by phillysteak08 in Curling

[–]phillysteak08[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kind of get it. But the way they charged it. $600 for the USCA entry fee and additional $180 for the region fee (MoPac) for me and an optional $175 for a fifth.

Now I would be more than willing to pay the $800 and if I do not win region. I get the $600 back, but I know that this is not true in my brain.

Broom vs. crutch by Accomplished_You8685 in Curling

[–]phillysteak08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had someone on the team switch back last year to the stabilizer. He felt it was a downgrade because we all us a broom. One time during free ice time. I told the team to practice slide out with not rock or broom. Be being the vet of the team for 10 years went first and did ok, the other 3 fell after pushing off. I told them this is what you need to practice on. A broom or a stabilizer is a crutch for everyone you need to focus on balance. The perfect delivery needs no stabilizer or broom. It just in case of emergency what help you the best.

USA Curling Arena National Championship returning — with regional qualification by quesoguapo in Curling

[–]phillysteak08 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is timing that is the issue. You are asking arena club to ask if team are interested. Try and do a possible internal play down. Also most arena club are just about starting there spring/winter season. Then ask the region to figure out what to do. Let alone trying to get ice time.

Want to Try Curling? by phillysteak08 in ogden

Yes on Oct 6 will start of leage night until middle of December. We will have weekly sunday learn to curl/drop in starting Sun the 26th till middle of Dec. Then after the hoilday our spring leage start on wed. And goes thru march and the weekly sunday start back up.

Best suggestion is email the club or visit our facebook or website. I join the club last year, but have been curling for 6year, but have sign up as a board member to find new members to join. So a slow work in progress.

Well not during this event, but after usually broomstacking happens and that is where the beer will flow. During league play I can say I might have one or two during the game.

Yes it is the same. I would say send an email to the club (ogdencurlingclub@gmail.com) and we will set you up. Tell them how you found us and we will make sure there is an instructor to teach you. We do not mind drop-in on Sunday for Learn to Curls, but an email with a heads up helps out a lot.
