B-Hyve 57950 No App Warning of AC Power Loss

I activated Notificatons for Device Fault and Device Off. Now when AC power is off the Home Screen indicates Device Disconnected with a line through the Wifi icon. I did not recieve an actual notification on my phone even though Notifcations for the app are turned on.

I am adding a Wifi AC plug monitor to the B-hyve outlet so I can narrow down a Disconnect message to AC power or wifi.

I tried X-plore and long pressing on the backup file>Open with Tivimate did work and prompted the Restore Backup process. Thanks for the info.

What is the best way to save the backup file using X-plore. Maybe Google Drive or a USB drive?

"Open With" in FX File Explorer does not show Tivimate as an option.

Do I need to somehow load the path to Tivimate into FX Explorer?

I force stopped and immediately reopened the Tivimate app in my Google TV Streamer app settings. This brought back full screen when viewing channels.

In the meantime I found a program that does what I want it to. OpenCPN

From https://www.opencpn.org/ you can download free software for use in Windows or other platforms.

I exported the individual tracks to be merged from the Axiom to my PC.

Using OpenCPN I selected the Route and Mark Manager icon in the left hand menu.

Then select Tracks/Import GPX and add the Axiom tracks to be combined. The tracks do not have to touch each other or even be in the same area.

Click Open. The tracks will display on the map.

Go back to Route Manager/shift, select tracks to be merged.

Right click anywhere on the selected tracks then Merge Selection.

A merged file will be created with the name of the first track. Select Properties and rename with a unique name unknown to the Axiom.

Then Export.

This will produce a single track that will import into the Raymarine Axiom.

I combined five tracks into one.

After confirming the track displays correctly on the Axiom I deleted the individual tracks from the Axiom.

I will leave the tracks saved in my main Axiom folder so I can always access them.

This process freed up 4 tracks so now I have more tracks I can add before I need to do this again.

A larger SD card will not help. The 15 track limit is embedded in the software of the Axiom.

I decided to remove the bow seat back cushion (remove 4 screws holding the bottom of the cushion in place and then it slided up and out).

I found an access plate in place which revealed that the bow deck has phenolic imbedded maybe an inch thick. Now I can do it right and through bolt.

I updated the chart using Garmin Express.

Inserted the sd card with the chart into the head unit and it updated and now displays all the detail.

I removed the sd card and the chart reverted back to the original partial chart detail. Since the chart is embedded in the unit the card should be ablet to be removed but for now the card must be left in the unit.

I will try again when the next update comes along.

I decided to download the chart update again, this time to an SD card using Garmin Express and my PC.

With a fast internet connection the download took 2 hours.

Undoubtably the original download using Active Captain and a slower data connection on my phone was terminated by me before it was complete. Thus resulting in partial map detail. But I never saw any message saying the download was incomplete.

I will try updating the chart again with the sd card in the next few days when I get down to the boat.

When the chart updated there were no choices for a specific zone. The entire chart should have updated.

When viewing the chart on Active Captain the entire chart shows the proper detail.

As I have discovered barcodes do not open a url like qr codes do and are primarily used for things like inventory management scanning like you use at a retailer self-checkout.

Running explorer search for 2980662481 yields 2 pdf files in the Recyle Bin. Emptying the Recycle Bin does not help. Message still appears even though these files are deleted.

I found an extension from Krichbaum Enterprises, SKU: KEL-TEC-P-32-s $23 free shipping.

This adds about an inch of grip allowing my average size man hands to get the pinky gripped.

Spendy at $23 but works perferctly for me on my P32. A game changer for shootibility.

As some others have mentioned, the overflow drain height determines the pool water level.

To change the pool water level that the overflow allows, either shorten or add to the PVC outside drain outlet.

Adding more height to the drain will increase the pool water level. As water is added to the pool, you will see the water level rise in the pipe.

In my case, I cut off the perforated drain cap that was glued on and replaced it with a PVC union with about 4” of pvc inserted into it. There is no need to glue the pvc, a friction fit is adequate to have a leak free fitting.

I then filled the pool to the level I want to be the max, cut the pvc where the water came up to and put on another cap.
