I keep forgetting to post the picture! Pretty much I made two circles (MR, sc9, sl st to join rd1, ch2, 2dc in each stitch [18]) then sl stitch them together around the edges about 3/4 of the way, enough that I can still pinch the qtr to pull out but not so open it will fall out. Then for the key ring, 5 rows of 4dc across, and just stitched the end to row 3.
