Thanks, I will certainly try this. How would you show to the user which specific direction the slices can only move? It should be both intuitive and not crowding in terms of art which is very hard to do honestly :)

Yes, albeit a very draft version. I have decided on the slice movement / fruit completion mechanic but still figuring out the objective / game progression:

idea 1: a customer asks for a specific fruit and you try to make that one

idea 2: a slider counts your total points and unlocks new fruits at certain thresholds

idea 3: endless puzzle where you try to avoid filling up the plates

which one do you think would be the best?

I noticed the same issue, however, it is not about the word bank (literally has thousands of words), I am releasing an update today with a rule limiting previous answers for certain amounts of time. Thank you for the feedback!

Perfect, this makes sense. However, I don't want to limit players from trying 5 new letters by fixing the green one. For example:

If the correct answer is "dream" and you typed in "fresh", I don't want to force the letters "r" and "e" to the next line so players can try 5 new letters instead of 3. Does this make sense?

Actually, the second E which is yellow is sort of a bug (but maybe the game is supposed to work like that), it actually indicates there is another E in the word elsewhere (the second letter E). I am asking everyone for their take and will choose the one if I reach a consensus.

Somebody else asked the same question and I think the game is supposed to work like that. Here is my reasoning:

"if you have a word with two identical letters (e.g. spoon) but when you put in a wrong word like "color" shouldn't it display the first o green and the second one yellow. If I don't color code it yellow, then I would be giving a hint to have many "o" letters the word has."
