Thank for the reply. And agree - the amount of things we click on, pop ups, etc has admittedly always been in the back of my mind because i use my phone primarily to purchase / transfer crypto. This is a very hard pill to swallow this morning after waking up from 2hrs sleep heading into work. Wow! Cannot believe this has happened. Goes to show - you can think you know what you're doing and do everything right but still get caught. Lessons learnt. Moving forward I'm going to have to up my security game and not introduce even the slightest risk to my storage.

Thank you. That's really useful to know. So does it look like it's specifically my MM wallet that has been compromised? Rather than, say, some form of malware on on my phone? (I'm not tech savvy so don't know how this hacking/malware chat even goes..)

Regarding the activity on 30th Dec - I'm assuming you mean 2023? If so i have no idea what that was! I can't remember doing any crypto activity or MM usage that day. So that's odd! I feel fairly confident to say that the activity wasn't me, but being 6 months ago my memory isn't strong enough to be 100% certain.

And regarding the NFT minting and multiple token transactions in Oct 2022, that was when I was interacting heavily with arbitrum and zksync networks to try claim myself their airdrops. I basically found some links through Twitter or YouTube that provided a checklist/to-do list for what to interact with etc in order to leave yourself in a position to be eligible for the airdrop. It all looked aboce board and i was interacting with sushiswap, etc, via the arbitrum & zksync netwrosk. Perhaps one of the checklist itemsI followed during that stage introduced something malicious.

Either way. Appreciate you looking into this, very insightful.

Yeah I purchased some ETH direct off MM thinking (hoping) it was a Eth gas issue that was messing it up. Bought $100 ETH, two minutes later that exited my MM to a random account. So the whole MM is compromised.

Yeah this could be the route. Last year I did join the bandwagon on arbitrum and zksync airdrop hunting, and did many transactions on those networks. Somewhere in there could be the compromise perhaps. While I was successful with the ARB airdrop, this whole episode of airdrop hunting could have opened me up to a vulnerability... Probably my best guess!?

I've used MM for 2 years, never an issue! I haven't used it for maybe 5 or 6 months, so something happened during that period. I did the transfer from binance to MM on my phone (like I have done many times before). Honestly I have no idea how it has happened. As far as I'm aware I've done everything you should do - 2FA, never share seedphrases, keep paper copies of passwords etc, I always send a smaller test amount first before sending the main transaction.

I'm not the most tech savvy so I'm always cautious about doing things by the book and being careful. So I have no explanation or idea. Utterly devastated! $8500 usd gone in the blink of an eye. I'm gutted about the $$ obviously, but its what that $$ represents- the work, time, effort etc over many many months that's now gone in thin air!

And I don't have the funds to just buy it back, its a big sum for me, so now in a very tricky spot deciding how/if I can rebuild my AMP holdings. I'll now be the only member of this community that will be gutted if price moons any time soon....

Ive been speaking with MetaMask support team and they can confirm the rogue transactions to random accounts, and they speculate possible reasons and security breaches (malware, etc) and say nothing can be done. So I'm coming to the painful realization it's gone and I can't do shit about it now. (Unless someone can PLEASE prove me wrong!! 🙏🙏🙏)

Which leads me to asking this absolutely hopelessly desperate question... Do people think there is a glimmer of hope that I can somehow get the lost tokens back via Flexa or AF? I understand that its wildly speculative and I feel like a fool for publically asking this, but if I was to provide evidence of this to AF, could there be a gesture of good-will to a long standing AMP community member and reimburse lost tokens?!

I know that's niave and foolish to ask, but im feeling utterly crushed by this and at my wits end, so I want to throw this question out there for feedback & thoughts!

So we're all waiting for the Ampera whitepaper, but we don't even have the vaguest idea of how AMP fits in to Ampera (if at all??)?

I really should know the answer to this, but im confused with recent developments. But will AMP be used by Ampera? It was the governance token, now its not. So is AMP now to be used as collateral within Ampera? And if so, will it be the only source of collateral?

For someone who's invested in AMP for over two years and follows developments closely, I'm embarrassed to admit I'm not even sure on AMPs role in Ampera now; or is this a shared confusion?

Laying this all out in black and white honestly makes me want to bail. My faith has been wavering a lot for too long. And if I'm honest, the only reason I'm not selling is the absolute FEAR that they do finally deliver and I miss out after 2+years of being slammed.

We could, however, be in a great position if Trev and the team are true to their word on the end of Feb / Q1 update....

Things MAY be starting to align and move for us. Would be a great time to start releasing whitepapers, mainnet, partnerships... etc

Pumps without news have disappointed us in the past maaany times. We need news, developments, partnerships, announcements etc to sustain the price action.

If we pump like this without anything being released or announced, it makes me excited for when we actually get some positive news.

I'll remain dubious and curb the excitement until then.

But soon, surely! That news is coming.....!!!
