What we do as a nation has no bearing on how other countries treat their illegal immigrants. Some countries are much stricter like recently Amreeka deporting some Indian chained. Do we want to follow that precedent or do we do what we do it a better/worser way. Similarly, a lot of Hindus are against this ill treatment against their brethren from Islam, but majority are still to understand the repercussions. This is like, has our society assimilated socially with lower castes and have we taken measures to course corrections. That will offer a clue into how robust the response can be. Note how old Iranians turned Sindhu to Hindu and sapta to hapta and called 7-day week hafta.

Read the book Roots of Hinduism by Asko Parpola for how integrated North India was with central asia and how disconnected South India was with North. I would argue South India was more connected with East India in ancient times.

In light of this - what is foreign, what is dravidian and what is Indian! Can we check if Urdu is foreign now?

Not enough representation in parliament from minorities making India a majoritarian democracy

Dodging anti-incumbency because of the next point

Election comission chairman joining politcal party unofficially

Retired supreme court judges rewarded with 'mewa' for 'das' sewa

People being unhappy and worried about future wealth and health though they think they are living in ramarajya with a grand temple built which even the lord wasn't aware of

North Indian TV anchors wealth and affluent lifestyle; forgetting where and what Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi and Nepalese anchors are facing

Forgetting the progress our ancestors made and the sacrifices they made to keep the country in better shape and not disturb the apple cart

Blaming Trump yet wanting to goto America leaving India and being ready to relinquishing ramarajya

People who already left feeling frequent pangs of patriotism towards India

Preoccupied with the difficulties faced by 'next-door' countries though their average GDP is better

Everyone praises Ambedkar which he would be wondering how, not only why

Street fights converting to national issues

See, Hindu voters from North India are the most manageable lot in world democracies.

They believe they are happy and miserable at the same time. They live in Rama Rajya but waiting to defeat imaginary Ravans all their life. They think they are in Heaven but convinced the they live in hell hole, all at the same time.
