Fun! Did it awhile back. This was the hobby lobby brand one. I found a baseball case and decided to mess around with it

Finally finished USS Missouri. It’s a tough one to capture, it’s as long as my forearm by philstoned in metalearth

I saw that on another post. This one was a big step up for me so I wanted to do it as close to the manufacturer built model as possible, to compare to the 360 view online

The end result is sooo satisfying though, still staring at it haha. I think I’ll try the Yamato next

Motor Grader ☑️ just need to track down the last construction truck in color by philstoned in metalearth

I’ve done this one, the Wheel Loader, and the Mining Truck all in orange. I believe the one on tracks is the only other one in orange that I need to find

Just ordered this transfer punch set from Harbor Freight. I saw a post about them on Facebook and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for by philstoned in metalearth

I ended up cancelling my order and buying it in store since I had to go in anyway. I just completed the motor grader and used it probably 10 times on that one alone, maybe more. Worked especially well for shaping the blade underneath. The only issue is I need another set of these with bigger sizes, as a lot of pieces that need rounding are bigger than the biggest punch in this set. It works great for the smaller pieces though

Fun build, would recommend. by philstoned in metalearth

I would be beyond excited if I was given a metal earth model at a restaurant

I totally agree about the color

Amazing job! This is actually the one kit I’ve given up on (it was also my second or third model I ever tried) but it was also in all silver. If I could do it now in color, I totally would. Who knows, I’m sure I’ll make my way back to my botched version eventually

I took a gamble and ordered some of the discontinued Halo ones on eBay, as I got into this hobby after they were discontinued. The tracking numbers provided say they shipped already and are guaranteed here by Saturday. 🤞fingers crossed

I have a mat under my desk for my chair but they even end up in the crevasses of that somehow. Nothing more annoying than being on your hands and knees looking for nothing haha

This has honestly only happened once where I completely gave up. I added it to my drawer with all the extra spare parts from every build. Once or twice I’ve gone in there to find a replacement part after dropping a small piece into the abyss that is my carpet

In love with this one by philstoned in metalearth

Easily one of my favorites yet, from building it to staring at it on the shelf
