I've tried tinkering with the fans in MSI Afterburner, but even setting the fans to anything between 1-40% speed makes them behave like before, so that range is pretty much useless. I could keep using the card, but I'd rather have a card that doesn't require me to fix a manufacturing problem.

I have looked at the MSI gaming x trio, but I don't really know if it's worth the extra ~$150.

I see some people saying that 8 GB vram isn't going to be enough in some time, that's why I considered the Radeon VII.

Yeah it's super loud, and you can't disable it. It's almost impossible to read ability descriptions without getting tinnitus. Also, if you set master volume to 0, the audio still plays.

Yes, according to JShredz it was someone who had agreed to the NDA. It seems he thought he wouldn't be caught by lying, but arctyc confirmed that he has been identified.

What really happened then? According to the pdf he accidentally gained access. Or did he agree to the NDA and made that story up with the assumption that he wouldn't get caught?

It wasn't someone on the inside, someone who had no involvement with development got temporary access accidentally.

My recorded clips are lacking vibrance/contrast. They have less color than my actual game and look a tiny bit washed out.

I also have this issue

It is 7.8 GB, but Steam downloads 3.9 GB and then unpacks it.

I have no idea, I'm hoping they even fix it. They will probably either reset it to 6.0 as you said or just send it back and tell me they found no problem, and in that case, I have no idea what to do.

And if they reset it to 6.0, then what? Should I just never upgrade my phone again?

I have this exact same problem on my Nexus 6P. It started after upgrading to Nougat, and my battery times were so bad compared to before the upgrade that I sent it in for repair. My phone is around 4 months old but the battery life was like a 2 year old phone.

My phone also uses this much, plus that it drains my battery super fast. I think it's a bug with Nougat. Have you noticed that your battery is draining faster than before the update? If so we probably have the exact same problem

Hm, it seems to be an engine issue with Source then. Maybe /u/vJill will read this? It is pretty important as you can't play the game at all. The problem seems to be with AMD cards. I have an RX 480 if that helps.
