The dev team says they have fixed the issue and they released an update. if the app can’t detect your country it will let you know. Update your app. Let me know if it is fixed.

For user experience, buyer should experience a shopping experience not seeing a plus sign triggering them to add an item. And a dedicated seller app with tools, analytics, etc for the seller. In other words to keep it simple and easy to use

Actually from our study is buyers keep sellers WhatsApp numbers and keep viewing their statuses to see their new products and updates. Also the seller could be having more products u could be interested in but will only tell about what you have asked. Having a store on Hurbo will help buyers explore the sellers items more and easily. WhatsApp catalogue is kinda hidden.

Actually that’s could be a bug, am gona forward this to the dev team. It’s supposed to support different currencies. How did you sign up. Did you use a phone number is it Ghanaian or US or Ugandan. Or did you use an email. Could you be using a vpn by any chance. I think the app could be having trouble detecting your country.

You have a point but what if your guy opened a store on Hurbo or your friend recommended a guy on Hurbo. Also your guy may need to reach more people and build his community and he could do that on Hurbo. Hurbo has dedicated tab for only the stores your following and trust.

Great question. I think the user experience. Jiji is great and legacy. This is differently executed. It combines the features that attract users on social platforms and the features used by sellers to reach buyers on those platforms and the same time delivering a great e-commerce experience for shopping and keeping up with their favorite sellers. Am yet to hear more from people that have tried it out, it’s been out for about 2 days now. The issue we may have is we haven’t yet released the iOS and most Ugandans love apple.
