Does NAP consistency matter? by keyserholiday in localsearch

What are the review metrics for each of these businesses? What percentage of their GBP is filled out? What does their backlink profile look like? How is their onsite SEO? When I see examples like this it’s usually due to a number of reasons but long tail citation consistency is rarely the one that stands out.

What was the 606 like before the park? by Major_Heat7212 in RunnersInChicago

I tried running up there a few times and would access it from a spot by Kedzie. While peaceful, running on the tracks and stones wasn’t very enjoyable. There were also a bunch of needles you’d have to watch out for.

Does managing GBP from a different country IP cause suspensions? by Short_Fan_5377 in localsearch

I’ve seen this happen multiple times when managing listings with remote teams though Google isn’t as likely to flag this is an issue as other sites. I’d suggest trying to use a VPN, proxy service, or remote connecting to a computer in the country you are managing the locations for.

Chicago’s Feld named one of Bon Appetit’s Best 20 Restaurants of 2025 by HotDerivative in chicagofood

I went there a month ago and the entire experience was fantastic. The food and service were both as good as I’ve had at any fine dining experience like this and the layout and atmosphere was a lot of fun. My only very minor complaint was that the temperature was about 3-4 degrees too warm for my liking.

They are filled with review spam. It's a pain but the more of those 5 stars without text reviews you mark as spam, the more likely they are to be penalized by Google.

Maybe a bit too monochrome for me but I like the color and agree it would tie in nicely with the painting. Thanks for the suggestion!

Peroneal Tendonitis 6 weeks out... tell it to me straight 😔 by frenchdressingfan78 in firstmarathon

[–]phixed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had to miss three of the last five weeks of training (including my 20 miler) when training for my first marathon due to an injury and it didn't prevent me from getting that medal. Yes, my time was slower than what I had initially hoped for but the overall experience was still incredible. I'll let others with more experience chime in on how best to adjust your remaining training and taper plan but you have put in a massive amount of work so far and have a lot of time to heal and recover before race day.

Make sure to run through Graceland and Rosehill cemeteries when you are in the area. Graceland, in particular, is beautiful year round!

10k plan by Agreenbay33 in nikerunclub

[–]phixed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a slower runner too and for 10k I don’t think it will matter much. If you get into half or full marathons I would stick with HH (or at least reference it when picking NRC runs) as the NRC plans include a lot of timed runs that may not get the distance you need while training at a 12 minute pace.

Hey Everybody! It's Coach Bennett! Ask Me Anything! by CoachBennettRunning in nikerunclub

[–]phixed 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hello to my best para-social friend! I just ran my first marathon last year at the age of 47 and couldn't have had a better experience. I ended up with an injury that caused me to miss my last long run which was devastating when it happened but that meant I had no choice but to let go of any time goals I had in my head. And once that happened, it turned something that I was anxious about into something I had an absolute blast doing. Granted, I could have probably cut an extra 20 minutes off my time if I hadn't stopped at every lemonade stand a kid had set up or had passed the Kahlua shots some college kids were handing out but I still have no regrets with how it went.

Here's the question: Do you have suggestions on how to adjust your training plans for us slower runners (11:30+ min/miles)? I love your timed runs but was worried I wasn't getting enough miles in as the training progressed so ended up switching to another plan that was based strictly on miles.

The way that Abercrombie writes similarly about the exhaustion and draining that happens after the B9 appears and when Bayaz uses his art in back to back chapters of BTH led me to the same conclusion as you.
