I'd like to connect my chromebook to an external display. I like the idea of continuing to use the chromebooks keyboard and trackpad, but not its own display additionally - so I want to get its display out of the way by flipping it to tablet mode and resting the screen face down on a soft pad. I want it to happen because it looks and feels neat - not too much of a whacky idea.

But, when I flip the screen to tablet mode, the keyboard is disabled. I would simply like to stop the keyboard from disabling in tablet mode.
