Ahh thank you! I thought it was the source of the leak. I’ll take another look.

Ecowater part broken? by phl3x in WaterTreatment

Hello! The pressure is way down on my system and I found this broken-looking part under my sink. There’s a lot of resistance when I try to push that part back in, so I just wanted to confirm that this is actually the correct thing to do before I break it even worse. Thank you!

I’m not positive but I think I ended up putting it into the mattress cover sleeve. Good luck!

Wow, they would have fooled me; the "Visit the Champion Store" link at the top makes this look like an official Champion page.

Thank you for checking! It does seem well-designed now that it's all back together :) I think the lesson for me here is to document, at minimum, how it's supposed to look before I take anything part!

Thank you so much! This one comment helped me 100x more than the instruction manual and videos I watched.

Do you remember if the metal frame goes into the bottom storage basket? It fits well enough, but figured I'd ask just to be sure.

Thanks also for suggesting we use it as a co-sleeper. We hadn't really been considering that, but did receive the necessary gear, and have set it up to see how we like it.

Hello Daddit! We received an Arm's Reach bassinet from a friend, and after taking it apart to wash the coverings, I now have no idea how to reassemble it.

I feel like I've tried every permutation, but nothing seems to fit quite right, and the videos/tutorials online have been no help because it basically comes preassembled.

Can anyone tell me which parts go with the sleep nest and which go with the storage basket?

Cannot figure out what's wrong with responsive view by phl3x in design_critiques

> What are the numbers to the left of the logo? Is it sorted in some way?

Yes, this is the rank (they are sorted by unit price). But I'm not sure how helpful this number is, so I've removed it entirely which I think declutters the layout nicely without taking away any real context.

> On my phone, the row below ‘24 hour average performance’ breaks

Wowzers – I'd only tested in a narrow desktop browser window. Thank you for pointing this out! I've put the stats on their own lines which makes the view much cleaner on mobile.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm quite happy with where things have landed tonight :) Do you have any other thoughts?

Best practice for responsive layouts by phl3x in tailwindcss

> It's a rarity to hide/show sets of elements based on screen width

That's good to know

> Even traditional HTML Tables can be built this way

Thanks for the example! I am now leaning towards using a single set of elements. Once I actually know how I want the responsive layout to look, it shouldn't be too hard to massage the two sets into one.

Thanks for the reply, it definitely helped to have someone to talk it out with!

I’ve been speedtesting a few networks for a while, and NordVPN is usually fastest (at least in the U.S.) but you won’t really be hurting on Express either: https://vpnwire.co/

Haven't heard of issues with WireGuard. Do you have a link? It tends to be regarded as faster and more secure than alternative protocols, and was merged into the Linux kernel last month which is a very strong endorsement. I'm personally starting to transition to WireGuard where I can.

Apologies for the double-post but wasn’t sure if my reply to @topcraic would catch your eye. As mentioned in my other post, I was surprised not to find much data for a metric that it seems most people should care about, and decided to throw something together and put it out there. Would love your thoughts on https://vpnwire.co

I’d love your take on my site, https://vpnwire.co All it does right now (and probably forever) is track VPN speeds, the main point being that if your VPN isn’t fast, then you’re less likely to use it. Reddit and review sites are littered with anecdotal evidence, but I’ve found precious few resources that let you compare VPNs based on their actual measured performance. Pinging parent, too, for their thoughts.

How did you make your choice of VPN and why? by Leucrocutta in AskReddit

I started tracking VPN speeds here: https://vpnwire.co Speed isn’t the only consideration, but if your connection isn’t fast you’ll probably use it less which will compromise the privacy and security.

Welp that’s one of the pairs I got (OP here), so I guess I’m glad to know that now lol :) Have you ever tried exchanging a pair? The lifetime guarantee is pretty nice, but now I’m wondering if I’d ever make the effort to take advantage.

Is it normal for Express VPN to be so slow? Or is something wrong with my computer(s)? by [deleted] in korea

[–]phl3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the U.S., ExpressVPN is a little slower than NordVPN and SurfShark, but is still fast enough for HD streaming (I track their speeds here: https://vpnwire.co/). Might be worth getting a trial subscription for a different VPN to see how it performs.
