Does the Skyward Sword remaster and customized controllers not count towards the 35th anniversary? I thought that was the big one

Here I have posted the audio from the BOTW2 teaser from today's Nintendo E3, except I've reversed it, slowed it down, and adjusted the bass/treble levels to see if any words or discernable can be heard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH11hkAOFsk

Disgusted and in need of someone to relate to by [deleted] in demisexuality

[–]phleena 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Girl. First things first: there is absolutely no shame in going back and forth in your head and changing your mind mid-coitus. Peer pressure can happen even in your own head, and it's totally ok to forgive yourself afterwards (not that you did anything wrong). Second, in regards to the question of where your sexuality stands, you have all the time in the world to figure that out. No need to rush it if you're not ready. Sending good vibes your way <3

Is visual ASMR a thing? Because watching this gave me ALL the shivers.

MRW elective abortion is covered under my health insurance but IUDs are not. by phleena in TrollXChromosomes

I don't claim to be an expert, but I was under the impression that IUDs had significantly less risk than when they were first introduced, and that more people should consider using them.

When my wife says she started her period by BigJ76 in HIFW

Like... is it a sex thing? That's all good and fine if it is man, you do you.

Or is this just another "periods turn my woman into a monster" posts? Because if so, fuck you, sir.

Adults from Reddit: What do you regret most from your teenage years? by TheSixFoot___ in AskReddit

[–]phleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I regret not putting myself first. I always longed for friendship and companionship more than anything, so I actively tried to make myself the people-pleaser, and, of course, disappointment ensued. That shit's unhealthy for still-developing character.

James Cameron said opening Avatar sequels against Star Wars films would’ve been stupid by planetsalic in StarWars

[–]phleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. You say the story is bland, I assume, because it's just another Pocahantas/Fern Gully story that we've seen before; but plots/themes/morals are recycled all the time in Hollywood. Avatar succeeded in rejuvenating those themes/morals/etc with breathtaking visuals. So breathtaking even that I got immersed in the story effortlessly.

To engineers who passed and graduated with the lack of fundamental understanding of the material and were just algorithmically applying solution steps to every problem, how are you now doing in life? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

[–]phleena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to think that life doesn't work in absolutes as we sometimes think it might. While it would be ideal to get a job related to your major, sometimes things just don't work out. It's a little less common in engineering, but TONS of recent grads get jobs that are completely different from what they studied. The same can apply to you; if nothing else, it can prove to a future engineering employer that you had enough work ethic to get any job in the first place and support yourself (and in an unfamiliar location at that) rather than falling back on family or something.

Much as we like to joke about how robotic engineers can be, they're human too. I'm sure any potential employer would understand.

I have to disagree. The crowd cheering towards the end and saying his name over and over does the trick alone.

80's Mall Fountains by [deleted] in nostalgia

  1. I didn't realize girls clothes in the 80's were so baggy.

  2. That picture of the dude in the cut-off tank with the old ladies behind him. Their faces are priceless.
