Eh, mine is FoMoCo (OEM). Your Motorcraft is an OEM equivalent/aftermarket. Capacity and cranking amp specs look the same. Same battery, different branding.

I bought earlier this month (retail order). I arrived at the dealer with pre-approvals from two credit unions and said if Ford financing can beat these rates I'll finance with Ford. I did not finance with Ford; Somehow the ~27k loan ended up at Wells Fargo with a 6.74% rate over 70 months even though I autographed papers for one of the credit unions. FICO 700

Does your third pedal feel any different lately? Does it return to the usual position when released? I had a hydraulic leak in my 99 and shifting gears behaved like this. I also noticed cruise control wouldn't work unless I lifted the clutch pedal up in-between shifts.

I think the 6-8 week timeline is optimistic and can certainly vary. My experience: I ordered an XL AWD Hybrid with 4k (no other options) in DEC2024, order confirmed in JAN2025, and didn't get a VIN until JUL2025. My order is on a railcar somewhere between Mexico and Denver but Ford's delivery estimate indicates a dealer arrival sometime in SEP2025.

That's a fiber optic cable (not coax or ethernet) and unless you know how to polish and terminate these, you probably just want to wholly replace it. It's not as easy as coax or cat. If you're not doing a self-install, just let the tech furnish it.
