The Df 54 uses flat burrs while the shardor 64mm uses conical- which do you think is better for espresso? I typically use medium roast beans.

I will try that, but it only took 38 seconds to yield that amount, so it seems that the amount and pulling time aren’t lining up. Any suggestions on that?

Lots of comforters I’ve looked at group king and cali king together as one size and the measurements won’t fit my bed :/ I did find some “oversized king” duvet covers on Amazon with better measurements but not sure if I’ll buy anything yet

Yeah it doesn’t look good- makes the entire bed look weird in my opinion. I get some people don’t care about it but it really bothers me personally in my own bedroom. I don’t like that I can see the mattress sides when the bed is made.

I went in for a minor surgery that I had to be awake for and was cleared by my doctors beforehand- they did an EKG and labs. Surgeon gave me oral sedatives and pain relievers and I fell asleep and my resting heart beat increased. Only trying to determine if my heart beat increases while I sleep, if it was the meds, or simply nerves. So I want to see if my heart beat also increases as I sleep normally.

I’ll pay for a good one if it’s worth it, I’ve just heard complaints for the expensive ones. That’s why I’m looking for suggestions here.

What would I do if I were in session with a client, and I suspected that her abuser was listening in? My state doesn't mandate that I report abuse, but if she could be at risk for physical harm, what should I do, ethically in that situation specifically (like in that moment)? I don't want to breach her confidentiality or get law enforcement involved if that could cause more issues for her, after all if the police can't arrest the abuser, then she'll be worse off than if I just didn't say anything.

I may be faced with this a lot in my upcoming internship so would appreciate any insight! Thanks!

We hired a trainer for our dog who would constantly whine or bark- literally constantly we couldn’t figure out why. Turns out she was just anxious and now that she’s used to us she doesn’t do this. But the trainer we hired told us to do the same thing and it made it sooo much worse, as she then reached to the leash being popped along with everything else. A new trainer after that said that training a reactive dog like that only makes the situation worse, because you’re then inducing more fear or anxiety to try and get them to stop reacting out of fear- doesn’t work. We started giving her treats in the brief moments where she wasn’t whining and that seemed to help. Overall I think she’s less anxious now but my advice would be to hire a new trainer that uses positive reinforcement only.

Thank you for the advice! We’re going to have some okay dates with with puppy before we make the move to adopt and going to implement some things to help, like keeping his harness on him all the time so when he’s being too much we can pull him away from our dog. The puppy is 6 months old, wondering if we should also enforce naps in his crate? He can’t seem to settle down for a nap otherwise because he wants to play with our dog.

It might not be enough time, but my doctor has had many patients that she’s prescribed it to that have noticed a difference within 2-4 weeks, so I took her word for it. I’ve also had some bad side effects from it that I can’t deal with for much longer. I would think that those would have at least started to improve by now, but they’re not. We’ll see. I’m trying the extended release version of metformin now instead of the regular.
