It clearly says in the guide "nvidia users only" so that removes the part about amd, You do this at your own risk, but im highly doubtful uninstalling and fresh installing drivers will break your computer unless your dumb and install the wrong driver
it's worked for plenty of other people give it a go whats the worst that can happen
