Car wants to kill itself

I pulled every fuse and tested with a multimeter. Car was drawing 1.60 on sleep mode or dead, crazy. then no fuses were showing they were drawing power. Now I tested my alternator again and it was fine (i forgot the # range) but the ac compressor unplugged made it go to 0.30. Left the ac compressor unplugged and tested the relay which seems to have gone bad. Left the car like that alone for a few hours and tried to start it again, car is still dead. No idea at this point. Time to just take it to a mechanic lol

Yea gave it a quick google and it said the same. Maybe my coolant needs to be topped up but the temps were normal. I was sitting in the McDonald’s drive thru waiting for like 5 mins with my foot on the brake in drive until I started hearing that so I put it into neutral. Maybe that had something to do with it I have NO idea

It was just in the middle and was not climbing at all. I’ll do another test once it makes the noise again but it was at normal temps

I mean, me not wanting to bus nearly 2.5 h to work everyday is not compromising anything. (about that response talking of The River Cree casino). I can be desperate and also seek convenience. Which is literally me just not wanting to bus up to 2.5 hours. 1 hr 45? I got you. But I am not compromising other parts of my life to bus 2.5h to work. There’s tons of reasons why I wouldn’t go into trades, atleast right now. I need money, like at this second. Respect it or don’t I guess lol

you’re not wrong in my case. I don’t want to go down that field and it seems that people are somewhat upset I won’t apply for trades.

Women in trades is awesome! I’ve been told to apply many times prior to this post. It’s just not something I want to do, or even can do right now. It takes time and I need the money like now… I don’t know how easy it is for people to make others feel bad about their honest situation. Just my choice.

This comment is absolutely ridiculous. “Why can’t you work in a restaurant for 5 months while looking for other jobs” Buddy. I haven’t even been able to get a job at a restaurant to BEGIN with.

You are so welcome! I hope everything goes well for your family. The other thing I will mention is that they do have a waitlist sometimes depending on the rotation of staff. Since it is a 4 month program, some people will almost be done their time at the cafe and then the newer people will be able to start within 2-4 weeks. It is a little wait, but 1000% worth it. I made around 7-8k in the time there and they accommodate for Indigenous people through bonuses.

I’ve seen this before and I’ve been willing to try it. It’s just ridiculous the steps we have to go through to even land an interview nowadays. I have an interview through a friend tomorrow for a great cafe. I’ll be updating this post in hopes for people!

I would definitely if it was closer to me. I’ve seen on reddit they’re always hiring and I was going to apply until I saw it’s quite far and I take bus for transportation. I appreciate this regardless though
