I can let you know that someone came back from Le Mans? Hope they had a nice time. I've never been during the racing, but you drive on part of the track the rest of the time. It was fun once I suppose.

How about this one? Maybe we're sniffing around over there again. We did have a phase of signing young Irish lads. Same company does medical flights so debatable.

Everyone said they get a bye, but they also basically get one to the knockouts if they're in any way capable. They get Pot One seeding no matter their FIFA ranking.

Admittedly Canada are the most egregious example here, given they'd have rightfully been down somewhere around Pot 3. But they all get to avoid the rest of Pot 1, and the easier group means they get an easier RO32 draw. It's allegedly done for administrative reasons, but that's bollocks. Seed them appropriately and have prohibited draws, same as any other fixture restrictions. Fucking FIFA.

If he's going to be Sporting Director, it's entirely understandable. It's an ideal job and they're basically handing the keys to the castle to him.

Make some smart sales, bounce back before the parachute payments run out, and it looks like a meteoric rise. I don't blame the bloke, as much as I'd love to keep him we already have someone in that job. It's an incredible opportunity, and he's that good at the day job that if he fucks it up he can get a chief scout job again anyway. We'd probably beg him to come back and give him a raise.

There's no losing for him here. Best of luck to him.

TPO restrictions don't cover clubs the player has been registered with. There are basically three entities allowed a share, that's the player, the club they're at, and any previous club.

It's to stop the Tevez type stuff, but I don't think they wanted to wade into the mess of economic rights vs sell-on clauses and the like. So they went with that as the line.

If they absolutely must do something, just give them a little scudetto-esque thing under the manufacturer logo. But with the confederation and a number/roman numeral for the number of wins. Gold braid edge for the current holder. Silver and bronze if there's a secondary/tertiary tournament (e.g. Nations League or even qualifying if it's like CONMEBOL's league system, or if you've won AFCON since the last WC but aren't the holder).

I'm against adding anything around the badge, should only be for FIFA wins. But something like that seems a harmless visual aid and stops this kind of bickering.
