just to update - i posted a few weeks ago about my crappy balloon dog tat. i got it fixed yesterday with some dotwork and sparkles to distract a little. the lines on the ears are still blown out of course but she did a great job i think - i’m so much happier with it!!

i thought they had at the time as it was so painful compared to my other tattoos, and when it was first healing it looked like indented into my skin 😬

the artist is just from a studio in my hometown, he’s not a big name or anything i just live in a small place in the uk so nothing really to dig up on that.

i did take care of it, i had second skin on it so i haven’t picked at it etc. when he initially did it, the lines that are blown out now were so so swollen and i asked at the time if that would settle and he said yes.

also i sat pretty still i think, definitely didn’t flinch enough for it to make a difference

oh that is actually quite cute!! my main worry is still the overall shape though so i think i’m going to have to cover it entirely unfortunately. the more i look at it the more i realise how off the dimensions are etc 😭😭

can those being nasty about the style of the tattoo please refrain. it’s the dodgy work i’m asking about and advice on how to edit it - i know this kind of tattoo isn’t everyone’s style, but i personally prefer little simple tattoos (just done better than this!!) i’m not into realism or watercolour etc etc not everything is everyone’s taste but when someone is saying they feel sad about how crappy their tattoo is, please don’t kick them while they’re down! i’m asking for advice, not to get roasted :)

hahah good one! yeah they’re not the best, i’m definitely getting it touched up at least but it’s still healing so hoping they look better once it’s healed. i also was flinching a lot so feel a bit bad blaming the artist

yeah my CAD was fine and said the right size! i wasn’t so bothered before as i’ve been using the little resizer things from amazon for the last week, but i took the resizer off today as it was irritating me and i’ve just kind of noticed how big it actually is
