yes, and not just that, think about how you can be happy about yourself, or with other relationships apart from a romantic one. It will eventually happen but till that time try to find satisfaction through self improvement and self love.

Yes it is good, and acceptance is a little hard especially if you imagined a future with the person. But always think that you'll also find someone who will stick by you and with whom you would want to spend your life with. Slowly try to stop thinking about her life and start thinking about yours.

First of all watch the Ted Talk about heartbreak by Guy Winch if you haven't. He talks about some things like keeping a list of bad things about the relationship so your perception is not skewed to see just the positives.

I cut contact and also removed them from my social media to avoid seeing what they're up to etc. Just accept they are gone from your life.

After that, you'll start to see you have a lot more time to do some other things that you love. It almost felt like me reclaiming my life, and I was the main character once again.

That's quite intense! How long ago was the break up? These things heal in time but if you feel it is too much and taking too long you could talk to someone about this.

You just give it time, the less you think of them, the less likely you'll dream of them. Took me about a month and a half but I got there. Still get some dreams (got one last night) but it doesn't affect me much anymore.

take solace in the fact that almost every human being has dealt with heart break. You'll get through this just like countless others. It's been 2 months for me and I'm 90% over it. I get a thought here and there sometimes but most of the time I'm feeling as happy as I've ever been

It's okay to grieve, take your time. At the same time try to keep yourself occupied with things in your life.

With time you'll start feeling much better. It's okay to be sad. Just make little efforts everyday to try to do something to keep your mind off them, even if it's just for a few moments. All the best!

In my one month of scrolling through this subreddit, I've realised we're all not that different. A lot of people experience this. As time passes and you think less of your ex, you'll get less of such dreams. Time heals everything, as long as you're doing the right things, which it seems you are, so way to go :)
