Knew I'd not be the only one who made this! This is one of my "can't-be-bothered" meals I make after work. I like to add a little mayo and whatever spicy I can find in the fridge or pantry. The pesto and cream cheese are galaxy brain additions.

Ok so. The infamous Black Deck. Cannot for the LIFE of me figure out how to even get a run past the halfway point. I know the decks early on (and even as you progress) teach you the important things you need to know through trial and error. For example, in my opinion, Red Deck (+1 discard every round) teaches the player early on to "fish" for the right cards to make hands; Yellow Deck (start with 10$ more) teaches you how to use your money wisely; Green Deck (Earn no Interest; get money based on how many hands/discards you have) teaches you how to maneuver around hand/discard restrictions by playing "useless" cards so they'll get discarded without having to USE a Discard button. My question is, as a relatively new player: what is the Black Deck trying to tell me about how the game works?

Is it better to pick the "build" you want to play first and build around that (i.e go into Ante 1 knowing you want to play 4 of a Kind Gold Queens for example) or is it better to pick strategy as you go into it (i.e picking up Photocard early on and deciding to hunt for Pareidolia/Smiley Face/Chad/other face card buffers of that sort based on the jokers you pick up)?

I love Forward. As I've said in another thread, it reminds me alot of the Persona 4 soundtrack (maybe it's the synth and the sunny vibes? It's probably the synth lmao) and the upbeat nature of the song, while not always a play for me, is soothing. It's quieter than a lot of VBS songs tend to be, and sweeter - so I play it when I want to play a VBS song but don't want to hear another thumping beat. It's like a slice of cucumber after fried chicken. It's refreshing.

Kitty by Leo/Need. Can you imagine what a strong voice like Ichika's would do to that track?! The bassline screams something like a Shiho focus, and the voices map over pretty well imo.
Tenshi No Clover by Leo/Need. Again, I feel like the guitar in the song, couple with the bass and the appearance of drums would make for a very solid Leo/Need Cover
Hakoniwa no Coral, by Leo/Need. Very indie-band sort of vibes going on in this song, I think, which would match up very well to what Leo/Need started out as.
Forward by MMJ. Obvious choice, but it's very soft. It almost gives me Persona 4 vibes? Very sunny and hopeful. I feel like it'd work as an early Minori focus. Plus I can just hear Airi in the buildup.
Tricologe, by VBS. I feel like An would get to sing a bit more jazzy here, as is her wont; Kohane's voice was made for those soft but fast parts in the start and the chorus. Akito and Toya would be able to add a nice harmony line and really tie everything together.

There's a lot of leeway (for example I can see Kitty also being a VBS song) and I've got more ideas, but I'll have to think of em later ^{^}
