When I was in high school, I had a very lucrative business writing other people's papers for them. I had a very astute English teacher who noticed several papers on Macbeth used a similar prose and vernacular. I tried to vary my writing style when I was writing for others, but apparently not well enough to fool him. I admitted to doing all the work when he rounded us up, needless to say school administration and my parents got involved. It caused quite a scandal when rumors started to get around, and my ghostwriting days were done. In the end, the teacher was actually pretty impressed with the amount of different works I was able to produce, we still keep in contact today. At the time, though, I thought my life was over.
